Emily King has to be one of the most slept on artists in this lifetime(exaggeration). At the age of 16, she got her GED and started writing songs. In 2005, she was signed to J Records and then her album hit stores August of '07. She released her first single "Walk In My Shoes" last year, and her second, "U & I," earlier this year...neither of them did too well. Honestly, I thought her album was going to be a bore, but it's actually really good. I wonder why she flopped. Poor promo? Bad single choices? You pick.
