Look Out For Muhsinah's Oscillations: Square.

Yesterday, I just realized that Oscillations: Triangle was never released. I was worried, so I googled what was up. I don't know the full story or if this is even the reason why it wasn't released, but the album was leaked mega early. Heartbreaking. The good news is, she's releasing Oscillations: Square. Yes, what you’ve heard is true! Who? What? Where? When? There is indeed a new installment coming to web at midnight that will only be available directly from this website. Why? In a nutshell… 7/20 is The Golden Girl’s birthday and The Oscillations: Square is in a sense, her gift to the fans.

13 tracks that would surely be lost to time if not for this release. “Gems” if you will, polished to be shared. Hopefully this will hold you all over until The Oscillations:Triangle is complete. Stay tuned throughout the day for more details.

Well let's start with Amel Larrieux's new song, "Orange Glow." You can listen to a snippet of it over on her MySpace page. If you want to purchase the single, it is now available. Her incredible voice is one that I and many others have been missing lately.(Another one to cross off the list).

And here's a new track from the lovely Muhsinah entitled "From Here." Very nice. She is one artist who can never disappoint her fans. Oscillations: Triangle drops later this month. Make sure you purchase a copy.

Muhsinah- The Oscillations: Sine & Triangle.

It's been a few months since most of us heard have heard Day.Break 2.0. Well, look out for her next drop, The Oscillations. The Oscillations is a 2-disc LP; disc one being Sine(Sine IS Day.Break 2.0?) and disc two being Triangle. Sine is available now and you can purchase it on iTunes. Triangle drops December 30th, 2008.

Daykeeper is the first single off of their recently released album Leave It All Behind (which I hope you checked out). This song is in heavy rotation for me right now. Check it out.

A Recommendation: The Foreign Exchange- Leave It All Behind.

Even though this is an album from a hip-hop group, I'm recommending it anyway because there is WAY more singing than rhyming on it. This album features many soul artists including Darien Brockington, Muhsinah, and YahZarah. A few of my favorite tracks are "Daykeeper", "If She Breaks Your Heart", "If This Is Love",and "Something to Behold." Leave It All Behind is a must listen. Download or purchase (I prefer the latter!) it whenever you get a chance.
