Happy New Year!!! Since 2008 is closed it's door, let me share with you the ten albums that made me love the this genre of music. I'm looking forward to album releases from YahZarah, Natassja, D'Angelo and being pleasantly surprised by a few unknown (to me) artists.

I Completely Missed This...

Lord what is wrong with me? This was definitely released back in October, yet I'm just now hearing it. Even AFTER ECJ posted a video from the show? Smh. Here are clips of performances from Black Girls Rock! which took place yesterday. The performers were Marsha Ambrosius (from Floetry), Bilal, and Suai (I'm really on team Suai right now, she sounds amazing). I cannot wait to see the full performances.
